Just got into NYC for setup for the BDNY hotel show this coming weekend.  No problems flying into Newark airport, snow all melted.  No problems taking the Port Auth bus into the city, less than half hour ride.  No problems getting to my midtown hotel.  No snow - it's all melted!  Restaurants and bars and shops are all open.  The sidewalks and streets are vibrant as ever. Food carts and sale tables and open doors welcome you on every block.

I know that folks in the suburbs and elsewhere in the city and on the coast are still struggling and need our support (donate to the Red Cross...I did), but if anyone had concerns about whether or not they should fly or train or bus or drive into NYC for this show it's time to confirm those travel plans ...and for all the local and regional architects and designers and hoteliers... please take time off on Sunday or Monday and come to the Javits Center and walk this show.  All of us exhibitors from around the country will be so happy to see you, and so proud of your support of this show and our industry,  and of the sturdy east coasters and New Yorkers who are making it happen.
